Founded in 2011, Artron is a company with extensive knowledge and expertise in developing electronic hardware and embedded software for aviation and automotive applications. The company carries out the R&D processes of dozens of different products—verified and approved according to customer requirements and standards—within our Zone.

The laboratory conducts testing, measurement, and certification of all wired and wireless electronic communication devices imported into or manufactured in Türkiye, as well as subjecting them to relevant experiments. The Public Procurement Authority (PPA) R&D Building, with an enclosed area of 3,335 m², was inaugurated in August 2011. Within the Hacettepe University Technology Development Zone, software development and call center operations related to the “E-Tender” project—built upon the Electronic Public Procurement Platform (EKAP) Project—are carried out by the Public Procurement Authority.

Our building, with a total area of 3,396 m² and housing 29 offices, has been designed with a high-performance façade to meet very low heating and cooling demands. Equipped with a building automation system and efficient system control, it meets the criteria of the Passive House Institute in Germany, offering the highest standards of energy performance and comfort.
The construction of the passive building remained at 60% completion after the contractor company declared concordat. Due to legal disputes, no action could be taken regarding the building until 2023. Since taking office, our current management, as with other problematic matters, has prioritized this issue and sought solutions.
In the dispute regarding the removal of the mortgage on the related parcel, the court ruled for the release of the mortgage. Consequently, the mortgage record—previously affecting the leasing process of the building—was canceled. This development removed one of the biggest obstacles to completing the construction and leasing of the passive building.
Furthermore, as the income-sharing agreement between our company and the contractor was terminated upon the delivery of our lawsuit petition, there is no longer any obstacle to completing the construction.
Our management has evaluated alternative solutions for the completion of the building, and with the decision of our Board of Directors, the construction completion process commenced in 2023. The building is planned to be operational in 2024.
