Incubation centers, translated into Turkish as “kuluçka merkezleri,” are facilities that support early-stage entrepreneurs with innovative and technology-oriented business ideas. These centers provide services such as office space, mentorship, consultancy, and training to help startups grow their companies and ensure their sustainability. In addition, incubation centers support entrepreneurs in gaining access to investors.

Early-stage companies are provided with office and infrastructure support across a 630 m² space. Beyond office facilities, the Entrepreneurship Office within Hacettepe Teknokent helps incubation firms establish a presence in the market, achieve sustainability, advance their product/process development, connect with investors, and benefit from training and mentorship. Furthermore, accelerator programs are organized annually to support incubation companies in entering both national and international markets.

What is a Pre-Incubation Center?

A pre-incubation center supports individuals or teams with technology-focused business ideas or projects who have not yet established a company. These centers provide office space, co-working environments, mentorship, and consultancy services, contributing to the process of transforming ideas into companies.

At the early stages, entrepreneurs with technology-oriented ideas receive one-on-one guidance to take concrete and sustainable steps toward company formation. Through mentorship, consultancy, and entrepreneurship training, they are supported in advancing their ideas into viable companies.

The Pre-Incubation Center, launched in May 2019, was established to create a systematic foundation for providing mentorship, consultancy, and training, particularly for young entrepreneurs with ideas focused on commercialization. The center also includes a Prototyping Workshop.

The Pre-Incubation and Prototyping Center is open 24/7 to support the development and expansion of business ideas with commercialization potential. With the necessary infrastructure and equipment, entrepreneurs can use 3D printers, machinery, and tools to prepare prototypes of their products.
